Woodland Park is approximately 24 acres, with 20 existing buildings and 10 surface parking lots which were built in the 1960s. There are currently 200 market rental units. The site is steeply sloped, from Cecile Drive to Clarke Road, with a vertical drop of approximately100 feet. The site also contains a significant amount of environmentally sensitive areas (ESAs) (22% of the total site area).
The vision is to redevelop the Woodland Park into a master planned, well-served community with an innovative mix of housing, parks, open space, and neighbourhood retail. Woodland Park will provide over 2,066 homes to be built over the next 15-20 years.

A master-planned, complete community straddling the College Park and Seaview neighbourhoods in the ‘City of the Arts’, Woodland Park will provide over 2,066 homes to be built over the next 15-20 years.
The precedent setting project will feature approximately 325 non-market homes to be provided by BC Housing, in addition to 151 secured market rental and 1,590 strata homes, all with diverse options for families. Residents and the surrounding community will be well served by 19,000 sq.ft. of retail, 93 childcare spaces, two publicly accessible parks, an active trail, bike paths and a public art walk. Designed to embrace its natural setting, the existing green space will be preserved and enhanced.
